OnePlanet Catering has made its purpose to contribute to well being and awareness. It starts with the recognition that we are all one, living on OnePlanet and that we as individuals are 100% responsibility for our actions, which impact the beings and matters that make up our environment.

Therefore we have made the commitment to give $1 of every “lunch platter” to social and/or environmental causes.

Because we understand the fact that we are all connected, we encourage our community of customers to participate in the distribution of funds. Our policy is to give 50% to a local project and 50% to an international micro-finance project. As a result we give each customer the opportunity to decide, based on the amount of lunch platters ordered from us, which micro loan project to support. Funds to micro-finance organizations will be transferred every 3 months and all customers will be kept up to date about the progress the contribution has made.
The other 50% of the funds allocated for social/environmental contributions we allocated for local food banks and education of children. One of our proposed projects is to establish organic vegetable gardens in pre and elementary schools in the Lower mainland. To connect children with agricultural practices and to create awareness around food. To improve children’s eating habits by improving the school lunch program in the lower mainland.
